The old centre has been demolished. Once the site has been cleared it will be interesting to watch the new centre taking shape. |

Early Education FundingThe term after your child's 3rd birthday you are entitled to free education, either at the Nursery or with us. This means you are entitled to five 2½ hour sessions. It is also possible to use your vouchers towards your day-care costs. For example you could send your child to the Children's Centre morning and afternoons. If you were to send your child for five mornings from 9.00 a.m until 1.00 p.m. you would pay £20.00 for the week plus your childcare vouchers. You might prefer to send your child for 2½ days which would cost £18.00 plus your vouchers. If you would like to to discuss the options open to you please speak to either Sandra or Sharon. |
FundraisingThe Committee are organising a programme of fundraising events to raise money for outside play equipment for the new centre. We are also applying for grants to cover costs of storage containers and garden landscaping. Please support us when you can, there will be something for everyone. The Cake Stall held on Saturday 1st March in Staithe Street raised £87.00 The Easter Bingo held on Wednesday 12th March raised £165.00 A huge thank you goes to cake makers, Easter egg donations and those who have turned out to support us. Thanks to our little band of fundraising stalwarts, the Traditional Jumble Sale which was held at Binham Village Hall Saturday 12th April 2008 raised nearly £150.00 |
Reminders:We close on Mondays at 5.00 p.m.

In November children who attend Polka Tots planted some daffodils to raise money towards the Marie Curie Cancer fund. Before Easter they decorated their pots to take home to raise some money. This is the second year that Wells Childrens Centre has taken part in the "Marie Curie Pots of Care." In our gallery you can see the outcomes of this project. | |
